Wommack wu col lectlug the taxes, Plumtner tendered twenty dollar gold piece, which the captain thought was not genuine. Plumtner atuck the piece lu bis pocket and produced other money. Tho captain atked to see the gold piece, as he waa not aure about it, saying that there waa a good;deal of counter felt money about, and he had already taken in some.
