President Cleveland and wife have returned to the White House from thoir summer vacation. The New York Tribune treats se riously the statement of the discovery of diamonds in Kentucky. A pleura pneumonia scare exists at Chicago and 3,000 head of cattle are to be slaughtered as a precautionary measure. The District Committee met at Henderson yesterday, to officially de clare the result of the Congressional primary election. Col. Frank M.
