Already tiioy have begun to crowd to Baltimore, where the marble halls and glided saloons of the once aris'onratic Marylmd c!ub-hou*e have been set apart for iLeir reoepiion. A few of the negroes may be wise enough to stay on the plantations, and to work for their old masters f r the very liberal wages which the latter offer. But almost all the able-bodied men have already been induced to enter the army, and the suffering will chiefly fall upen the helpless women and young children.
