A Complaint. B. It. Tobin wrote to last Council meeting re complaint about the septic tank at his hotel, saying that the state ment as to the nuisance was not cor rect. The tank was approved of by tho Board of Health, also tho Licens ing Board. Ho was endeavouring to cope with the alleged trouble to .the nest or nis ability. Aid. Pearce and Madigan moved that Mr. Tobin be given notice to forthwith cart away tlie effluent water from his septic tank, failing which the Council would bo compelled to issue an order for tlio closing of tho tank, as being a nuisance and a danger to health. — Carried. The same alderman moved that sim ilar notice be given the proprietor of the Royal Hotel. Evidence concerning the condition of the tank -at the Woolpuck was given by Mrs. A. and W. I-I. Fuller, and Mr. S. Young, residents in tho vicinity, thu.-i corroborating the inspector's re port.
