To the Editor of the Grenfell Record. ? Sir,— I am a subscriber to the fund for the establishment and maintenance of the Grenfell Fire Brigade. I am also a resident of tho town, .and not having too much to do, I wander here and there, and as usual with people who havo ?not much to do. I am always ready to pick holes in other people's coats. : Now I believo the Brigade own forty-eight buckets, which aro equally divided and sup posed to he hung up at JNos. 1 and U stations, and it struck me tho other day I would tako a walk round and see if they were all in good order. This is what I saw — At ono station, fourteen buckets on the hooks, the remainder about the stable and yard ; at tlio other, oight en the hooks, six amongst some sawdust at tho scone of a rccent fire, and others scat.torod about in back yards of officers of tho Brigade.
