It is really such a good stating rink, and is i;o doabt mnch appreciated by those who are fond of this delightful recreation. The floor, by all accounts, is first-rate, and all the other arrangements seem to " be carried oat so well. For instance, there is a ladies' room where one can leave extra wraps or fix your skates Also, if it is a cold night, there are two big fires lighted in the - open and hot coffee is supplied by Mr Rosenthal, who apparently, spares neither time nor ex pense to make this risk a complete sac 'cess. I was asked on a "pr ivate party'' night. That is, friends formed together for .a special skating evening. RENMARK HOTEL. A special meeting of the Hotel com* mittee was held on Wednesday evening last. r' Present—Messrs Howie (chair),-Pitt, Dridan, Muspratt,. Crozier, and the manager, Mr Drnmmond. RtJI.ES AND REGULATIONS. — The chairman reported that the Treasurer had notified him of his wish to have the rnles revised and reprinted in a concise form so as to bring them up-to-date and in accord with the present practice of the Hotel, the old rnles haying been so altered and cat about, as to fender it a difficult matter to arrive at the exact in terpretation of them. The State Returning Officer also wished to have a moVe definite statement regarding the eligibilty of hotel electors. The committee have endeavoured to make this clear in the proposed revision of roles now before the Treasurer for con sideration.
