WAGES WILL GO UP AND PRICES COME DOWN   WHAT HENRY FORD SAYS (An interview by William S. Dutton, given in "The American Magazine").   HENRY FORD, at sixty-five years of age, considers himself just at the beginning of his life's real work. At present he is engaged in the biggest and hardest job that he has yet undertaken. On ahead he sees vastly bigger and vastly harder work still to be done. He intends to do what he can of it. Ford told me:   "Up to the age of forty, a man is in training—every man is. He is   assembling the tools with which to work. When the tools are at hand, they can be put to their real uses. Death David Yaun Widely esteemed and respected,   David Yaun, of Upper Nerang, passed away yesterday after a life of active endeavour and accomplishment. De- ceased was known as one who always strove for the material welfare of his neighbour. As testimony to his devotion to the public cause was his long service as a member of the Nerang Shire Coun-   cil. From 1899 to 1915 he was a con- stant member, and for three terms he occupid the position of chairman. During his long record he attended 173 meetings. Councillor Yaun, a present member of the council, is a son.   Burial took place in the Nerang   cemetery to-day, the cortege being a representative one.
