Tho question of municipal contri bution towards the re-grading of the Caulfield railway line was, discussed at a meeting of the Prahran and Malvern Tramway Conference on Tuesday last. Cr Skinner (Prahran) presided, and there were also present Crs W. H. Edgar, M.LC. (Mayorof Malvern), Cameron, Lewis, Weller and Upton, and Mr Mortley (Town Clerk of Prahran.) During the past few days s a bowling team from New South Wales bas been on a visit to this State for the purpose of plavins; three gatees against the bowlers of Victoria. Our boys won the two first games, and the final match was played on the Prahran green on Thursday after noon last, a fact which the Prahran ites were deservedly proud of.
