HAS STRONG LAW NOW . - Illinois Anti-Trust Legislation is Almost Perfect . Coal Conspiracy Cases in Chicago llln n Decision in Supreme Court in the Butler Case . The decision of the Illinois Supreme Court Wednesday in the case of the people against the Butler Street Foundry and Iron company of Chicago is declared by the Attorney General to bo a distinct victory for the people and far-reaching in its effect . It is a contribution to anti-trust legislation and enactment . One of the first effects of the decision is to knock the props on which the coal operators have been resting in the recent conspiracy cases in Cook county . The defendants in the indictments secured against them for responsibility for the coal famine and high prices have been expecting an adverse decision in the Butler case which has been pending for some time .
