In any other age than this, stupified as it it by all sorts of fanaticisms, the crowd ot Know Nothings assembled at Philadelphia would be taken as a set of mad men, just let loose Irom an insane Asylum. They avow senti ments that are abhorent to human rea son, and disgraceful to the country that gave them birth.
