The recent announcement of material reductions in the freight tariffs from Chicago to Colorado points on a number of commodities made by the interstate commerce commission has aroused the husi ness interests of New Mexico, both wholesale and retail, and it is more than likelv that a determined and concerted effort on the part of New Mexico business men will be made to secure like readjustments in freight rates for this territory.
