We learn from Mr. Robert Glenn, of the death on the 20th ult., of Louis Flint, at bis home In Wynluslng. The deceased was forty-fire years of age. From tho same soitrco we learn some particulars of the life of the late unfortunate. Mr. Flint was nn old resident of Grant county. About nine teen years ago It becamo manifest, from sudden chango that came over lilm that In sanity was fast developing Itself. A log cabin was built near the one In which the family lived, where the demented man was placed for tetter security. On the train were a good many ladles and gentlemen who had been buying gloves and clothing. You buy gloves In Montreal for from 75 cents to Ssl. 10 and very good ones too ; anil genuc- men's suits, whlclLCost hero $85 aie got. ten there for $30. The cloth Is good al ways English, but Is made up In n very slop-shop manner. The binding is sewed on us a lady would sew braid on her dress. There arc no tailors In Iho world like our New York tailors. Well, after buying all theso things, tho one thing left was to get them through tho Custom llouso without paying the 05,pcr cent, duty on them. All sorts of dodges were resorted to.
