The Jocko canyon route would be about 52 miles long over comparatively easy grades, much easier than if the line paralleled the Northern Pacific to Dixon. S. R. S. physician and surgeon, the writer was able on Friday last to visit all the camp's north of Ronan. He makes a trip to each camp every ten days, and with his Hudson 33 it is not so great a difficulty as might be supposed.
