A general election will be hold through out the Territory on the first Wednesday In September ensuing As no county ofllccrs of consequence are to be chosen this year, the interest will concentrate in the selection of a Delegate to Congress, and Members of the Legislature. In some respects the office of Delegate is tho most important ono the people of a Terri tory have to fill. It is true that he has no vote In Congress, but a Territory fn its infan cy has a gnat deal to ask of the general gov ernment, and should be well represented at Washington.
