He was a citizen of this place for maiiy years and leaves eight sisters and five brothers to mourn his loss. Their many friends deeply sym pathize with them in their great sorrow. Dr. and Mrs. Wm. Henry Slade Iras been in town this week visitiifg friends. He is on kis way to his home in Colorado. Wc are authorized to extend a general invitation to the citizens of St. Johns to attend the opening of the Territorial Industrial School at Benson, Arizona, Nov. 30, 1903. Dionicio Duran, a large sheep owner of St. Johns, is in 'Mesa and has rented a residence for himself and family, the coming winter; Mr. Duran says the sheep this year are in good condition throughout the territory and that the movement to this valley will commence soon after the first rain. At present most of the sheep are the other side of Tonto Basin., and are feeding on the range there.
