In the North BRAWLEY AND IRRIGATION DISTRICTS 4 AND 8 Subscriptions for the Press may be left at the Brawley Postoffice W. K. Peasley, engineer of the Im perial Construction Company, took his friends by Baptise last Friday by return ing from Los Angeles with a bride. The lady in question was Miss Helen Plato Yinyard of Los Angeles, and bride and groom had been warm friends from childhood. Mrs. Peasley is with her hus band at Hotel Bungalow, where they will remain temporarily. The bridge over Xew river west of Brawley was completed this week by M. Lengle, tlie contractor. It has a length of about 120 feet, and stands 12 feet above the channel, leaving room for a heavy flow of water. There has been extensive tree plant ing through the town and north end of the valley. Farmers in No. 4 are rejoicing over the line condition of their crops. While the grain started late, it has been doing finely, and is it believed good harvest will result.
