To Clean Silk White silk ia best cleaned by dissolving cured soap in water at bat at tbe hand can bear, and passing tbe silk throngh and through, baudling It gently and rubbing any spots until they disappear. The si'.k bould then be riused iu arthurwarm water, and stretched by pins to dry. Flowered whit silk is best cleaned by bread crumbs rubbed on by tbe bands. Black silk is best cleaned by some ox pull, put into boiling water. Tlx silk should be laid out on a tiblc, and both sides sponged with the gall liquor, then rinsed with clear water, and pass ed over tbe wrong side of tbe silk, which should then be stretched out on pins to dry Colored silks are denned with so ruucu risk that it is better to send them to a scourer.
