Mrs. Kato Counter, the woman who created a sensation in Judge Finn's department recently while testifying against a young man, was sent to the Haw Asylum for lusaue yesterday. While detained in the Counly jail as a witness she twice attempted to lire the place, and also assaulted the matron. Upon her release, she became drunk and was soon hack iv the jail, where s lie resumed her old tactics. Mrs. Ellen Horn of 12 Valley street, who has noises in her head, was sent to Napa, and Mrs. Kosn C. Moon of 4J'J Bush street, who believes herself defrauded of millions of dollars, was consigned to Aguews. Charles Waxsen, a Norwegian sailor, who recently jumped into the bay to commit suicide, but linding it too cold, swam back to shore, was sent to the Home for the, Inebriates.

O'Urien, a plumber of 020 Geary street. While in a dazed codition he was taken to a disreputable house on the Barbary Coast and there relieved of 8290, tlie proceeds of his day's collections. McAulifia was arrested on Broadway while on ins way to the steamer Umatllla, on which he had taken passage to Victoria.
