Mr. Russel Wiley pupil since ho was eight years of age of his brother Dewey O. Wiley gave on his pro- gram the first performance of the Vlottl Concerto No. 22 for Violin. This is the first time a student in the violin department of Simmons ever gave a standard concerto on a junior recital.
