To Develop the Bust. [Newspaper Article] — Koroit Sentinel and Tower Hill Advocate — 9 January 1915

To Develop the Bust. A simple, safe, and harmless way in which any lady, no matter how thin or old, can increase her bust development from two to five inches in a few weeks is to take 20 grains of phormoid, a standard concen trated food product, just before each incal. Kor convenience, it is best to ask your chemist to supply you with the standard phormoid tablets, which contain -0 grains each. For a few shillings you can get enough to last you two weeks, during which time your bust should devolop from one to two inches. Many ladies report live inches developmont in four weeks, and at the same time marked improvement in the general health. Phormoid is pleasant to tho taste.

The Anti-Christ. AN AUTHENTIC PROPHKCY. (Translated from the French.) [Newspaper Article] — Koroit Sentinel and Tower Hill Advocate — 9 January 1915

The Anti-Christ. AN AUTHENTIC PROPHKCY. (Translated from the French.) Under these headings M. Pcladan {says a French contemporary) publishes in the Paris "Figaro" the text of the following extraordinary Latin prophecy of Brother Johannes, which dates from the year 1600, and which is given as authentic. If one considers France to he represented by the Cock, Britain by the Leopard, Russia by the White Eagle, Germany and Austria by the Black Eagle and "the other Eagle.'' If one attributes the same sense to the inter vention of the Lamb as in the Apocalypse,, one cannot help believing in a writing three centuries old, which seems to net forth with such striking precision the truths, or at least the possibilities, of the future. 1. It has been recognised through the ages that all the murderers of the Lamb resemble one another, and all evil men arc found to be precursers of the Arch villain. 2. The true Anti-Christ will be one of the monarchs of his time. A follower of Luther, he will inv...

Racing Notes. [Newspaper Article] — Koroit Sentinel and Tower Hill Advocate — 9 January 1915

Racing Notes. By " Flemington." Racing dates- immediately following tho holidays arc not eagerly sought after by the metropolitan clubs rnciug under the V.U.C. banner, and thus we are left without any "registered'' facing about tho city this week. The Aspendale proprietary was originally al lotted. to-uuy (Saturday) but by ar rangement the date was handed ove>r to Mr John Wren, who will make use of it by running a program me through at Richmond. The opportunity thus given will enable Mr Wren to cater for his patrons to their satisfaction, and very much to his own profit as well. The | onv courses must still be paying remarkably well. According to all accounts, the gentle art of "ringing in*' Sis not yet quite gone out of fashion. The Tasmanian authorities arc, it is said, now investi gating an alleged case of the kind which promises to jjcld rather interest ing developments. From the story in circulation it seems that an already disqualified performer with a few races to credit w...

With the Expeditionary Force. [Newspaper Article] — Koroit Sentinel and Tower Hill Advocate — 9 January 1915

With the Expeditionary Force. The following is an extract from a letter received from Private Oswald Mills, of the First Expeditionary Force, now in Egypt: When we left Albany the weather was fine but dull, and we struck off in three lines. We were on the right and fourth boat from the top of the line, and we had a battleship on each side of us. The New Zealand fleet followed in line behind, and a beautiful spectacle was presented. At night each boat showed only a mast and a stern light-you know why. We nearly had an adventure the first night, as the boat in front of ours slowed up. We did the same, but the boat which was behind us did not, and I believe she shaved us very closely. When the weather began to get rather warm, 1 swung my hammock over the foc'sle head just behind the two funnels in front. Next day the sailors spread awnings over the fore and aft decks. As we got into the danger zone all boats sailed without lights. I believe there have been eight or ten deaths at sea, I...
