W. ffWeck: I have the honor to report the followng as some of the results of the battles of bonth Mountain an-l Antietatn: At Sooth Mountain our loss was 443 dead, 1,860 wounded, and 76 missing: total, 2,315. At Antietam our loss was 2,010 killed, 9.416 woundeJ, and 1,044 missing: total 12,469. Total loss in two battles. 14.794.
