Herman "Wclisch came in from the Santa Kita placers early m the week, and gives a more than usual!' encouraging report. He says rain fell four hours on Sunday and on Monday night there was a heavy shower. These rains have done much good, and if the later heavy rainfalls hereabouts, c'. tended over the diggings, water must uow be unite plentiful.
