WIFE AND DAUGHTER PRESENT Was apparently in pood health when stricken down Did not realize his serious condition. Washington, December 0.? Thomas Brackett Reed, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, and for many years prominent in public life, died here to-night at 12:10 o'clock in his apartment in the Arlington Hotel. The immediate cause of death was uraemia A change for the worse was noted in Mr. Reed's condition early this morning.
