Four ounces of castor Biigar, sovon ounces of flour, ono tonspoonful of cream of tartar, half a toaspoonful of enrbonato of soda, two onucos of but ter, two eggs, one gill of milk, tho grated rinds of three ornngos. Cream the buttor with half the sugar, beat in one egg, thon tho rest of tho sugar and tho other egg, then Blft in gradually tho Hour, orange rind, cream of tartar and tho soda, adding tho milk as required, nutter a tin. line with pnpor, pour In tho cako and bako for about half an hour.
