Moners was put on trial here Wednesday charged with being principal in the Kon slugten ibank, robbery vrhich occurred on the4night ot, tho 8d of. February, 1871, nearly ihjrteea .years ago, and which at the time Rented .the greatest sensation ever known' in that part of tho city cnlled Kensington. Maurice D. Murphy tho yqar old witness, who was xat tho time of the robbery one of tho watchmen in, the bank, was the only witness. His testimony showed that Moners was the man who did the principal work.
