The Courier. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30, 1830. A brig was coming up the river when     our Paper went to Press.       Sailed on the 27th instant, the ship Mellish, Captain Cowley, for Singapore and Calcutta, in ballast.   Vessels in the Harbour :— Ships, Wave, Selena, Royal George, Southworth, and Bombay. Brigs, George,     Elizabeth and Caroline. Schooners, Prince   Regent and Hetty.         There was no arrival of shipping at Launceston   last week.         The vessels in the Tamar on Monday last were the bark Nimrod and schooner Resol-     lution. The latter vessel was to sail for   Sydney on Tuesday.     The price of wheat and other provisions continues the same as last week.   ...

Abberton/ which arrived from' England ?esferday, touched at Madeira, where he learned die important intelligence that Air gicri had fallen into the hands of the French on the 7th of July, after a stubborn 'attack.
