We have, therefore, to invite settlers who may have strayed cattle on their runs, to furnish to this office a description of such cattle which will he published free of charge, and continued until claimed by the owner or owners. The annual municipal elections were held yesterday before the Aldermen and Assessors of the different wards, with the following results:—           LONSDALE WARD.         In this ward there was no contest, the election was consequently decided at the nomination held in the morning before   Alderman Greeves, Henry Moor, Esq., being proposed by Mr. ex-Alderman Mortimer, duly seconded, and unani- mously elected.         GIPPS WARD.       In this ward also there was no contest, the election having been decided at the nomination, John Bullen, Esq., being put in nomination by Mr. J.
