The sacred edifice was unsparingly bedecked with , specimens of the gifts of a bountiful Provi dence. The chancel was decorated with a profusion of ftuit and vegetables— in fact, at every point within the building there was an indication of the bouteousness of Him « ho ' has promised that no long as tlie earth re mairieth there will be seed-time and harvest. x The'residehts of Garra and other partH of this district have hid that 'promise fulfilled for tlie season that is ended. In some in stances the yield did hot come up to expecta tions. The fickle condition of our meteor ology doubtless had something to do with this,' but taken generally the ingathering has Wen fairly satisfactory. The service was hejd at one o'clock, and it is almost needless to say the ''church was filled by a good con gregation. 'Special hymns were sung, and Bp...
