After the revelations of the day pro. vious, but little interet. was taken in the evidence which weas adduced. The Croni realed Rlaby Wilson, but declined to examine him, leaving him to be d.alt with by Mr Treland.. From him, however, the learned counsel could extract nothing beyond what was known before. Mr'Adamnon elairned his right of reply, but in exerlesing it was altogether unlike hitsusual self. A WESTERN TORNADO. The following despatch gives a startling account of a gale in Arkansas:-The stea mer Julia reports a trrifiSotornado'as having recently occurred at Osceola, Arkansas. The. storm struck the town, containing. perhaps 800 houses, coming from-the south-west, and before the citizens could get to their doors; it had burst upon, them, sweeping before it hOuses, trees, cattle, fences, and. everything movable. Three churches and ii:' school houses were blown down in a moment, and many of the heaviest timbers carried en tirely away, and nearly every dwelling-house in Osceola-snd its-immediate vicinity- was either blown down or unroofed.
