WORKING The school committee held a work ing bee in the school grouuds on Saturday afternoon last, (or the purpose j of clearing out all the native timber in the vicinity of where the pinss were planted. There was a good response to the invitation to attend, and about 10 tons of firewood was cut and slacked ready f.ir disposal. It was ths first time the committee had held a winking bee, and it proved very satis factory, the appearance of the grounds being greatly improved.
