THE HEAVY RAINS. DRAINS & CREEKS OVERFLOW. FARMS UNDER WATER. At a point known as Connor's Hill the Lang Lang river is 14 feet deep, and washing over the roadway, At another point, some distance from Heath Hill School, there is an overflow which stretches for some distance. Near Dennys', at Yaunatkan, water is running across the road, and heavy rain is daily causing it to deepen. The No. 6 Drain, which ilows into Yallock Creek, is flowing over tho bank, which meaus that several farms will be flooded. Tho Ararat Creek, which runs into Kooweerup Swamp near Tynong, is washing down a heavy volume of water, and losv-lying farms are fast becoming Hooded.
