Coursing. Despite adverse weather - the or ganisers of the Picola Coursing Club meeting decided to go on with the fixtures, on Wednesday last. How ever, ovvnets were shy, and only eight dogs were nominated. Messrs Neeld's, Murtlen's and Board's pad docks were worked. In the first round E. Eagleson's Lady Frayne beat P. Ball's Nathalia Lass ; R. Crawford's Picola Lad beat F. Bal lard's No. 10 ; J. M'Kenna's Moira Lad beat W. Uilet's Black Graham ; E. Eagleson's Blackfoot a. bye. In the first ties Lady Frayne beat Picola Lad. Moira Lid and Blickfoot not approving of the dry state of the soil refused to have ag). The stake was thus .divided between Lady Frayne, Blackfoot and Moira Lad. Mr. A. Garonne made'and efficent judge, and Mr. J. Limbrick is as good as of yore as a slipper. The hares were wild. The ladies pro vided a very enjoyable luncheon.
