( fhfkr ^ M ^ ouncU ¦ MUS . L . J . STETHEJfS . The Children . —I have four children under eight years old , and have only lately . learned how to manage them without much friction . While the new way takes time and thought , I do not -think intakes more time to plan how to keep them pleasantly occupied than it formerly did to decide how they should be disciplined , and now both the children and myself are spared the strain and pain of punishment .
