LOCAL MATTERS. Olympic Amphitheatre. — Mr. Nesbitt McCron made his first appearance at the Olympic on Saturday and was received with much favor. His personal appearance is prepossessing, his voice good; and from the few brief speeches we heard him deliver In a hasty visit to the theatre we should conceive him to be an actor who would be sure to meet with success wherever he might appear. He is in the bill for this evening. Mrs. Kirby gains nightly upon her audience and will unquestionably prove a favorite. National Theatre.--This house is becoming deservedly popular and the performances nightly go off with eclat. The performance of the Sable Minstrels is rather tedious and not being particularly new does not strike us as being very attractive. It is a most comfortable little establishment, aud we're glad to see an improvement in the numbers of the audience and that many ladies nightly grace the boxes.
