FIRE AT THE YAWONG POST OFFICE. St.Arnaud, 31st November,   The premises of Mr. Thomas Murphy proprietor of the Yawong post office, store, and hotel, were destroyed by fire about two o'clock this morning. The children were rescued under great dif-   ficulties. Everything was destroyed,   including the post office property, the wearing apparel and a considerable amount of cash. The premises were insured in the National Company for £550, which will not nearly cover the loss. The origin of the fire is unknown.
