?A peculiar land case is at present ?occupying '. the attention of the Full 'Court-.' It is that of a man named -Martin Bolgcr, who is appealing against ?the confirmation of tiie.. homestead ap plication of one Bairstow. It appears 'that in September, 1897, there were , -certain blocks of land gazetted to bo made available as homestead selections 'in parish of Bamn, county Townsend, in ?the land district of Deniliquin. There ?wore, twenty-one ' blocks in all, and Bairstow lodged an application which 'embraced the twenty-one, at the siimo time lodging one dcposit:by way of rent and survey fee for the' block requiring 'the largest deposit.
