After a lapse, as there was no one svilllng to open the discussion, the chairman Invited the manager to ad iresj the meeting. The manager said that they all knew lhat the directors had been carefuUy ivatehing the Interests of the share holders before putting in a pasteuris ing plant . They had a 1WW local sale for. thefr butter. The partlruJar ici-lity of their buttera caused a large demand. He had carefully watched the progress that was being made in pasteurisation, and after going care fully into the matter and visltinc the southern factories and cold stores, he came to the conclusion that there was no other option but- to so in for a pasteurising plant.
