Mioh, Sept. 21. - Eight masked aud heavily armed men led the people of White Cloud, a vil lage forty five miles north of here, at bay eariy today, while they rifled the Newago County Bank and attempted rob the bank of R. Gannon aud sou. The eight 'men rode into town shortly after 'miinight and surrounded the two banks Guards were posted out side, while othei members of the gang entered the banks.
