Reports from all parts ot the state bring the same complaint from farmers that rain is badly needed, yet here in the Pan- nandle the farmers are perhaps faring better in this respect than in many other sections. 'Tis true that soms of our small grain is needing moisture badly and must have it soon if any- thing like a good crop is to be had; but in numerous instances it is found that wheat has a dark rich color and is as fine as can be found in any country at any searon.
