MM SFIELD POLICE COURT... Mlodnay, June 27. (lefore Messrs. Roao and Sherring.) Macintosh v. Ah Ching.-A summons for £1 12s. Gd., for wood sopplied and for carting. Mr. O'Leary who appared, for defendant submitted that the plaintiff could not recover for work done as a carrier inasmuch as ho hold no license. Thoe Iknchstuck out thile items for carting, but gave judgment for the plaintiff for 7s. Gd., with 2s. Gd. costs. Edwin King v. Winm. Davies.-A summons for the illegal detention of a saddle and bridle. Mr. O'Leary appeared for the complainant. Tho defendant resided at Mfount B]lller: Thu complkinant deposed that he lived at the Ilowqua Bridge. It May lastcom:t plainant lent the defendant a saddle and bridle.
