WAKEFIELD, of Faribault county. ^sasAm Seccud The semi-annual encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic will occur at Minnetonka Like on Wed nesday, August 9th, when Mnller Post, of Stillwater, will run au ex cursiou train out there. The governor of Iowa will proba bly call an extra session of the legis lature to complete the prohibitory measure recently adopted by the peo ple of that State by attaching a penal clause to the amendment. Gorarnor Hubbard last week re ceived a draft for $17,938.39 from the United States Treasurer, the same being on account of the per centage allowed the State on the sale of government lands. There is still a large balance due the State from the same source. The soldiers of the Eighth Con gressional District of Wisconsin are moving in the direction of obtaining the nomination of Hon. H, B. War ner as their representative in the House...
