IM, This being a national holiday, business of every kind his been partially and almost wholly sus pended throughout. The banks, public office and a large number of importing and wholesale houses have kept closed doors, and the total operations effected in financial circles are hardly deserving of a paesing notice. We have, how ever, made our usual diurnal ronnds, and would refer to the folowing a the result of our labors. viz.: Sales of 85000 city notes at :13. $5000 do. at 40 ' cent. discount; 12 levee bonds at 54c.: $10,000 Louisiaina State notes at .'3, and $15.000 do. at 5c.. 4" dollar.
