RECIPES TO TRY , (From 'Buttercup.' ?COPHA COCOANUT ICE i lb. copha (melted), 1 lb. icing sugar (sifted), i lb. desicated cocoa nut, 2 white of ' eggs, - A teaspoon essence of vanilla. Mix together the eggs and vanilla. Then stir in , the ; hot . (not , 'boiling) copha and mix :well). 'Line tin with -greaseproof: (paper and spread' in half of the mixture. Color ; the other half pink and spread on ton of white layers. Stand in a cooL place '.to set. TOFFEE One cup white sugar, i'lb. of water, 1' dessertspoon of vinegar, 6 almonds (chopped in pieces). -Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and when beginning to boil add the vinegar and almonds. Boil till it will snap when dropped into cold water.
