The early portion of the day was utilised to decide the finals of the 'A' and 'B' grade teams matches. Unfortunately a~ little dispute had a risen between the North Arm and the * Woombye 'A' grade teams over a tic in the semi-final match. SECOND DAYS' SHOOTING. ^imi ARM MEMBERS SHOOT WELL. W. L. MILLER WINS KING'S. The second day's shooting ofTne Lilley District Rifle Union's annual prize meeting was commenced at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The conditions for shooting were difficult, owing to the choppy changing wind, mirage, and changing light. The contest for the championship cup, donated by Mr. C .Elliot, resulted In a close and in teresting struggle. After the shoot off at the 700yd«., W. Miller and S. Woolgar were equal with 94 each. At this range W. Wardrop required 2S to win and 27 to tie ; he only resristere.l 26. In the shoot off three shots at 700y«ls. each registered 13. The llnal shot gave Woolgar 4 and Miller sco?e.| a 'bull' and won. The teams match also created a sur prise through Gympie R, C.
