NEW INVEtNTION2S. -Applications for grant of letters pa tent, which have been lodged in the following names lave been accepted by the Commissioner Messrs. G. G. .Turri and Co., patent attorneys No. 1, of Australia, of the Rialto, 499 Collins Street Melbourne, have prepared this report from the official records.- Improved Incubator.-An incubator of the water heated type provides a circulatory system iniuediately above the egg drawers, the pipes being of tapering rectaingular section.-Mr. J. Supports for Ladders.-To. give side support to ladders two struts are clamp ed at their top ends to a rung of the ladder, while chains connect, the side bars of the ladder to bolts near the feet of the struts, thus limiting the lateral movementeof the struts.--Mr. A.
