G.R.G.G indignant; COMPLAINT AGAINST SIR. INCH. Strong indignation was expressed at a meeting of the Clarence Rivjer County Council on Tuescda,y re garding ai northern newspaper's statement attributed to Mr. C. S. JncSh, Town Clerk of Mullumbimby in regard to the financial opera tions of the County Council. The chairman (Councillor G. W. Fitzgerald), in a minute, said Mr. Ineh wag reported to iiave stated de finitely that the Council had never prior to 1935 met its commitments for principal and interest on the due dates... 'These statmeifts are entirely wrong,' he added. 'I would like to point out that from 1923 to the pres-' cut time the Council has paid £139, 018/17/6 in interest and £75,245 in principal, and every commitment has been met each year on the due date.
