Oil Prospecting Odds Computed How much money you should invest in wild-cat oil prospecting, if you should invest at all, can now be computed statistically, according to . Dr. Sylvain J. Pirson, in charge of the petroleum and natural gas engineering curriculum at the Pennsylvania State College. Dr. Pirson has applied a formula by which the break-even value of wild-cat lands, where no oil is known to be present, can be computed so that the spectacular may know the maximum price which he should offer for such properties. Hoffman, registrar, announced last night. Registration will continue tomorrow for the remainder of the student body. Mr. Hoffman staffed that a fine of one dollar will be assessed for registering on Monday or Tuesday, but at a time later than that assigned, and' that a fine of five dollars will be assessed for registering after 5 p. m.
