DO US JUSTICE. We noticed an article in the Pitts-' burg Commercial, of Tuesday last, taken from the Philadelphia Bulletin,. which contains a list ot the most thriving towns and young cities in our grand old State. We believe that we have the best State, as it is ono of tl\© largest, in the Union, and we take pride in anything that enhances her glory. In proportion to her increase in wealth and population, her influence amongst her sister States is extended, and our share in her glory enlarged. We are then, if yon please, just a little selfish in this matter, and feel somewhat sensitive, when in the; summing up of her honors, neglect, either intentional or otherwise, is shown to any section.. We rejoice in the fact, that in none of the old States, is there such rapid growth, as in Pennsylvania, "in the rural districts, as well as in cities. and towns,". and that "we have mor^ fast growing towns than any other State." ¦ We find comfort also inthe thought that the census of 1870 wil...

The average advance in all sizes was seventy-four cents per ton over October prices. There has been quite a coal panic in the market' with'regard to stove coal;-which caused-the price's to run upso high.: • ¦ ¦ ¦¦' ¦¦¦¦' . The trade is iu,a very, ticklish and excited state, and will require p rudence, on the part of all interested in fixing prices tor November. : • Under the circumstances it .is -difficult to advise, except to.caution all parties^not to put. the prices too high. ;:...-• :.!¦¦.. The press abroad, in June last, kept purchasers back "by. creating the impression that coal would be lower as tlie season advanced, (as such'was the...
