Influence of Singing upon Physical Education. One of the first benefits arising from vocal instruction is improvement in speaking. It has been justly asserted that singing ia the most effective means of improving tbe organs, if naturally good, and of correcting any defect in the speech, such as stammering, hissing, or a _nassal enunciation.
