PUBLISHED RVERB SATURDAY MORNING B1 S RA- peo. I.. 4 :..p as : SATURDAY, IAY 22d, 1858. STRAWBERRxEs.-On Monday last Dr..Geo. Hill presented to'usater sanctum, a bunchof his fine "Hillrs Seedling : strawberries, grown at" White Hall," his residence, near Opelousas. The Dr. had often spoken to us relative to the quality and size of his strawlierries but we must confess that now having lad'the pleasure of seeing them and judging for ourselves, that in his former laudations of them to us, he did not exactly do justice to the produc tion which he was pleased to exhibit to us. They are certainly equal, if they do not surpass, anything of the kid which we have seen. We are almost afraid to ive any statistics relative to size and measurement, but would say .this much: that in placing them in comparison with the ordinary strawberry sold in our streets daily, that the former would occupy the position of a giant to a pigmy. It is said that precious goods are generally found in small packagesi...
